Lens Flare TV are an independent kit hire and crewing company based in Manchester, providing equipment to leading broadcasters and indies across the country.  We are looking for an experienced bookings coordinator to join our growing team on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract, starting October 2021.


The role will be based at our new offices in Media City UK.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare quotations for clients, ensuring all equipment is included and appropriate

  • Provide support and advice to clients as well as solutions to specific needs

  • Handle phone calls and emails from clients

  • Manage the allocation of equipment and resources 

  • Liaising with the warehouse team to manage stock 

  • Manage ongoing customer bookings with support and knowledge

  • Maintain existing client relationships with production managers, production and technical staff

Key Skills

  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience working at a broadcast hire or facilities company 

  • Excellent communication skills are essential

  • Experience with Current-RMS bookings software is advantageous but not essential

  • Have a passion for the industry and enthusiasm to learn new skills within the role

  • Have good attention to detail

  • Work well in a team environment



  • Enthusiastic approach with a good knowledge of broadcast television equipment and practices

  • Good organisational skills are essential for the role, you must be able to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently

  • Solid administrative skills are required as you will need to operate our bookings system, respond to emails, manage calendars and answer phone calls

  • Good understanding of current camera formats, lenses, lighting, and sound equipment commonly used in broadcast television.  You will need to understand client requirements as well as offer alternatives.



  • Our office hours are 09:30 to 18:00, Monday to Friday 

  • Ideally, we would require the successful candidate to start in October however this may be flexible depending on notice periods

  • Salary dependent on experience
