Mission Statement
We recognise that we have a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points. We will encourage our customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same.Â

Transport

Energy and Water in the Office

Our energy is supplied on a 100% renewable energy tariff

We will seek to reduce the amount of energy used as much as possibleÂ

Sensors have been placed in low-traffic areas of the office to automatically turn off lights when not in use

We have installed a boiling water tap to reduce the overfilling of conventional kettles in the office

This tap also provides filtered cold water to remove any need for bottled water in the office

All electrical equipment will be switched off when not in use

Heating will be adjusted with energy consumption in mind

Staff have been given reusable water bottles, removing all single- use plastic bottles from the officeÂ

All light fittings in the offices and warehouse have been replaced with LED technologyÂ
Power and Batteries

We will encourage our clients to use LED lighting technology where possible to reduce the power consumption of traditional tungsten lightingÂ

We have moved all single-use AA and AAA batteries to rechargeable alternatives which are supplied with all relevant kitsÂ

We regularly check and maintain our lithium-based batteries to maximise their performance and reduce disposal

We will evaluate the energy use and environmental impact of equipment before purchasingÂ

We will favour more environmentally friendly equipment where possible
Paper

We aim to minimise the use of paper in the officeÂ

All rental agreements and collection/delivery notes have now moved to a paperless system with digital signatures and emails to clientsÂ

We aim to re-use packaging and boxes when posting itemsÂ

We will seek to purchase recycled and recyclable paper productsÂ
Maintenance and Cleaning

Cleaning materials used will be environmentally friendly where possibleÂ

Materials used in any office refurbishments will be as environmentally friendly as possibleÂ

We will only use licensed and appropriate organisations to dispose of waste and recycle where possible
Single-Use Plastic

We have worked hard over the past few years to remove all single-use plastic from our business

Filters are now supplied in sealed bio-degradable enveloped rather than heat-sealed tubed plastic

We have purchased over 150 heavy-duty branded zip pouches for cables and accessories to remove the need for sealed cable and accessory bags

All staff are provided with reusable water bottles
