Production Company: CTVC
Broadcaster: BBC One
Service: Crew / Hire
We’ve recently had the pleasure of working with production company CTVC on flagship BBC One series Songs of Praise. Â First broadcast on the BBC in October 1961, Songs of Praise is the longest running religious television programme in the world. It is on air every Sunday, 52 weeks of the year.
Lens Flare TV have provided crew services with in-house DOPs Simon Makin and Steven Spence, to shoot the new small capture segment of the show. Â These intimate performances have featured Katherine Jenkins, Laura Wright, and the Liverpool Lighthouse Choir in some of the UKs most beautiful churches. Â Working with director Karen Hannah, we lit each space with a different look to reflect the piece of music being performed, shooting on the ARRI Alexa Mini and Angenieux EZ lenses.
We have also been provided dry-hire services for the shooting PDs with Sony FX9 camera kits and Sony G-Master lenses.
The episode featuring the performance by Katherine Jenkins is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
